Jackson Wang Release New Single “Fire to the Fuse”
Jackson Wang recently released a song called Fire to the Fuse on November 3, 2022. This song is a collaboration between 88rising and the online game League of Legends.
According to a press release from Riot Games, the game’s developer, Jackson Wang’s Fire to the Fuse will be used as the theme song for the Empyrean League of Legends skin which will also be released along with the track.
Fire to the Fuse has a catchy hip-hop tune with throbbing bass. Wang’s latest song release released a few days ago is also accompanied by the release of a cinematic that tells the story of the Empyrean League of Legends universe.
In the cinematic, one version of Pyke is depicted as traveling across the multiverse to kill other versions of himself before destroying their respective universes.
The cinematic video also introduces Empyrean Jax, another Empyrean, a powerful being similar to Pyke who is created whenever Pyke ends the universe. The video is well made, executing a tight story twist by revealing the protagonist’s identity and Pyke’s motivations only at the very end.

This rumor was immediately confirmed by Jackson Wang the next day through his personal Twitter account. He posted a tweet saying “Why to worship legends when you are one” followed by the hashtag Worlds 2022.
In the opening ceremony which took place on 5 November 2022, Jackson Wang performed Fire to the Fuse for the first time live. The event which took place at San Francisco’s Chase Center also featured Wang alongside rapper Lil Nas X and singers Edda Hayes and Louis Leibfried.

Regarding this collaboration, Riot Games’ Global Head of Creative E-Sport, Carrie Dun also gave her opinion about the experience of working with Jackson Wang.
Working with Jackson Wang was a great experience for Carrie Dunn because she could see firsthand how respectful and kind the Hong Kong singer is.
“One of my favorite memories so far has been working with Jackson Wang and the way he brought a such dedication to the show,” said Carrie Dunn.
Carrie Dunn is in charge of all things creative for Riot Games, including the opening ceremony for the world championship featuring Jackson Wang. Dunn then shared how dedicated Jackson was to his work and creation.
“There was one day when he wasn’t even scheduled to rehearse but he asked to come to see the dancers and the choreographer and see how things were going,” Carrie Dunn revealed.
This collaboration between 88rising and League of Legends involving Jackson Wang can certainly be a stepping stone for his career to be better known by the wider community. K-Pop fans are already familiar with the name Jackson Wang.
Before becoming a solo singer and joining 88rising, Jackson Wang was a member of the GOT7 boy group made by JYP Entertainment. Many fans idolize this man who was born on March 28, 1994, because of his multitalented figure.
Apart from being a member of a boy group, Jackson Wang is also a rapper and songwriter. With GOT7, Wang has produced various hits and won many awards.

Magic Man received positive reviews from critics who praised Jackson Wang’s new vocal and sound experiments. Many music media labeled the Magic Man album as Wang’s successful experiment in working on the rock genre.
