Marshal JMP 100 Review
Marshal JMP 100 Review – One of the Marshall amp series that has contributed greatly to shaping the development of guitar sound, especially for rock/metal music to this day; Marshall JMP 100. This amp that was released in the late ’70s was heard by many people through Angus Young who is also the guitarist of the legendary group AC/DC.
This 100-watt amp provides two input options for the user, namely high and low input. As the name suggests, the high input is intended to get more gain and sound more treble than the low input. The interesting thing about the low input is that even though we have turned the gain knob fully, the input still sounds clean without the slightest distortion. The presence of a master volume knob on this amp also allows users to get a more flexible sound compared to amps that do not provide a master volume knob.

Marshal JMP 100 Review: In my personal opinion, this amp is not a high-gain amp, so if you want an amp with extreme gain, it is not recommended to choose this amp. But for guitarists looking for vintage rock sounds like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, or AC/DC this amp is perfect for exploring. Although not a High Gain amp category, it is this amp that has accommodated guitarists from legendary bands that became the forerunner of today’s metal music.
