Kang Tae Oh Announces Enlistment on September 20, 2022, Becomes an Active Army
Kang Tae Oh’s fans must be prepared to part ways with the actor. The drama star Extraordinary Attorney Woo has officially announced the date of his military enlistment.
Reporting from Soompi, Thursday (1/9/2022), this was conveyed by Kang Tae Oh in his online fan meeting entitled “TikTok Stage Connect: SweeTaeOh” last Wednesday. He will serve as an active soldier.
“The message has reached me. I was called to fulfill my duty to the country. I’ll be enlisting in the military on September 20,” he said in a statement. On that occasion, he said he wanted to sing the song “Thank You” by Kim Dong Ryul to the fans who were patiently waiting for him to return.
“Thank you for making beautiful memories with me. I will return healthy,” said the South Korean actor who was born on June 20, 1994.
Some time ago, Kang Tae Oh confirmed that Extraordinary Attorney Woo would be his last Korean drama project before leaving for the military. But previously, he had not mentioned in detail the date of his departure.
Kang Tae Oh is expected to graduate from military service in March 2024.
Even though the actor Lee Jun Ho is leaving for the military soon, fans have at least one solace. He has finished filming Target, which is due to be released when the actor enlists in the military.
In this film, he will be opposite the famous actress Shin Hye Sun.
