Wednesday 13 Band Announces New Album, Horrifier
Wednesday 13 Band, the moniker of the supergroup frontman horror punk and heavy metal band Murderdolls, has announced his new album, Horrifier. This horror-themed singer and musician’s new album will be released on October 7, 2022, via Napalm.
This album of his solo project music is a follow-up to his 2019 album, Necrophaze. This album will contain 11 scary and fun anthem tracks to get your blood pumping and melt your brain!
Wednesday 13 Band features a mix of styles plucked from his 20-year solo band career. The Horrifier album itself weaves a sonic thread reminiscent of Wednesday 13’s roots—a raucous fusion of ballistic metal and monstrous heavy rock, one that will have new fans and diehards alike rising from the depths.
As usual, the songs on this album are inspired by classic horror films. this time, Wednesday 13 revolves around John Carpenter‘s Halloween and Christine’s iconic supernatural thriller.
The lead single for the Hoorrifier album from Wednesday 13 is titled You’re So Hideous. The single was released along with the official gruesome music video inspired by the classic horror film The Exorcist (1973).
The song is mesmerizing with its danceable 1990s-era sonic flavor, sing-along chorus, and unforgettable headline riff that’s sure to be heard in venues this fall.
Regarding the song and its music video, Wednesday 13 commented: “You’re So Hideous is a very catchy song and one of the first I wrote for this album. Lyrically, this is the story of modern-day Medusa… Beware of the look in her eyes. The music video of course just got inspired by the movie Exorcist and it’s great fun to remake it.”
The Horrifier album was produced and recorded by Wednesday 13 Band with mixing and mastering by Brent Clawson and featuring artwork by Jonny Bush.
Wednesday 13 states: “The last three releases have seen the band explore new lands with heavier songs, drums, and vocals. Coming out of the COVID crisis, I promise I won’t be releasing a sad, depressing record. I wanted to make a fun, rock-themed record. horror reminiscent of the first few records of Wednesday 13. This new album is a fun, fast-paced, thriller!”
The Horrifier album itself is an album containing 11 tracks that are rocky and really kicking. Wednesday 13 which consists of vocalist Wednesday 13, lead guitar by Roman Surman, guitarist Jack Tankersley, bassist Troy Doebbler, and drummer Mike Dupke is ready to scare you all with his songs.

The ninth full-length album Wednesday 13 Band begins with a terrifying introductory song called Severed before sliding into one of the toughest songs the band has ever recorded, the massive, slow, low Insides Out, with booming guitar accents and booming vocals.
The industrial-edged track Exhume And Devour and the aggressive You’re So Hideous track picks up the pace with danceable 1990s sonic power. While the definitive hit Good Day To Be A Bad Guy will overpower the pure horror punk spirit of the Murderdolls as a genuinely happy tongue-in-cheek earworm that will sink into listeners’ heads over and over again.
