Shakira’s Official Statement

Expressing her disappointment, Shakira shared a heartfelt message with fans on social media:

“My children were eager to visit Medellín, and I was looking forward to seeing all of you again and sharing the special surprises we had planned. I deeply regret the inconvenience, especially for those who traveled to attend. Unfortunately, this situation is beyond my control and my production team’s. However, I am confident that we will soon announce a new date to celebrate together.”

She added, “Thank you for your unwavering support. I love you all and hope to see you very soon.”

Organizers Confirm Rescheduling Efforts

Concert promoter Páramo Presenta has assured fans that efforts are underway to secure a new concert date.

“Alongside Shakira’s team, we are working to reschedule performances in Colombia for the second half of this year. More than one city in the country will celebrate this news.”

In their official statement, Páramo Presenta emphasized that safety was their top priority:

“During the setup process for the February 24 show, the stage’s roof suffered structural damage that could jeopardize the safety of the artist, her team, and most importantly, the audience. While we understand the frustration this may cause, the well-being of everyone involved is our primary concern.”
