LS Dunes Band Release Single Permanent Rebellion
LS Dunes Band – A supergroup of pop-punk and emo/post-hardcore stars unite in a new band project, L.S. sand dunes. The band officially debuted with the release of a single titled Permanent Rebellion.
LS Dunes Band is an American rock supergroup fronted by Anthony Green as vocalist (Saosin/Circa Survive), guitarist Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance), bassist Tim Payne (Thursday), drummer Tucker Rule (Thursday/Yellowcard), and guitarist Travis Stever ( Coheed and Cambrian). The name of the song and album was not announced before the song was released, as was how the line-up of the band was not announced.
In a press release, guitarist Frank Iero said that the song Permanent Rebellion is about taking back what is rightfully yours. This song is supposed to be able to be performed directly in front of fans even though L.S. The sand dunes were formed in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We never knew if we would ever be able to play these songs together, in fact, none of us in our lifetime really knew if we would ever play music for a live audience again.” Frank lero said.

Prior to the release of the song Permanent Rebellion, LS Dunes Band has been hiding their identities for months, including who the personnel is. They first appeared on Riot Fest posters in May 2022, revealing themselves as a supergroup made up of members from some of the most iconic emo and post-hardcore bands.
“We wanted to do something where you could hear all our bands on it, but not sound like the others. Our roots are punk rock and hardcore, and the vibe is hope for all lost souls.” Says the drummer, Tucker Rule.
According to a press release held on August 26, LS Dunes Band started with a live stream practice for the Christmas 2020 event. Together with Payne and Rule, Iero and Steve were then involved in a coincidental impromptu performance session. They later discover that they are instantly locked in chemistry.
L.S. Dunes is known to perform for the first time on Friday 16 September with the Alkaline Trio, Placebo, The Wonder Years, and more (as well as My Chemical Romance itself). The supergroup will also perform at the Aftershock Sacramento festival on Saturday 8 October 2022.
L.S. Dunes also plans to hold their own concert which will be announced in the coming weeks. Who can’t wait for the L.S. show Dunes must be patient because the focus of the members at this time is still on their main band.

Permanent Rebellion is scheduled to appear in LS Dunes Band’s debut album, titled Past Lives, which will be released on November 11, 2022, through Fantasy Records. The 11-track recording was produced by Will Yip (Quicksand, Turnstile, Code Orange), who tracks the band in his Studio 4 Recording room in Philadelphia. As of the press release, the writing for the album was entirely collaborative, with themes including courage, dependability, incongruity, and impermanence.
