Renaissance Tour of Beyonce Will be Held Next Year
Renaissance Tour – Beyonce is reported to be going on a Renaissance tour starting in the summer of 2023, in order to promote her latest album. According to Page Six’s report, Thursday (22/9), a source said Beyonce had already booked many stadiums around the world starting in the summer of 2023.
Meanwhile, another source said an official announcement from Beyonce would come in the next few weeks. Even so, Page Six said Beyonce’s representatives did not respond to requests for comment on this news.
Renaissance is an album that topped the US Billboard 200 album chart and became the first album by a female musician to occupy that position in 2022. According to Luminate data reported by the Hollywood Reporter, Sunday (7/8) US time, Renaissance sold more than 332,000 copies of album-equivalent units in its first week to August 4.
Of this total, 190 thousand sales were from physical albums, 138,000 from streaming equivalent albums (SEA), and four thousand from track equivalent albums (TEA).
Meanwhile, the song Break My Soul, which is the opening song for the soloist’s seventh album, became Beyonce’s first song at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in the last 14 years. According to a Variety report on Monday (8/8) US time, Beyonce last topped the US popular charts in 2008 through Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).
Break My Soul was able to climb to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 after entering the popular song list six weeks ago. This achievement also coincided with the Renaissance album which became the champion of the popular US album chart, the Billboard 200.
