Laney Ministack, Small Amplifier with Big Sound Quality

Laney Ministack is practical and easy to carry everywhere and seems very suitable for guitarists with high mobility. Apart from not eating up a lot of space, we also don’t have to bother taking tours or musical activities outside the home.

According to the official website, the Laney ministack-iron model is designed to resemble the iconic Laney Ironheart series. With its small size, this amp is suitable for use at home or backstage.

With quite complete features in one small amp, in my experience, You can still get good low-end and mid-range guitar sounds. This gear is certainly good enough to get ideas and inspiration.

This LSI is an advantage that is quite unique and not on the market. With just an amp, a smart device, and an LSI cable, You can access thousands of digital guitar sounds at your fingertips. All you have to do is download the version of the tonebridge app on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

To use this tonebridge, the preparation is quite simple. To be sure the guitar must be connected to the unit and follow these steps: turn the gain control to a minimum; then turn the level control at 12 o’clock; and set the volume at 12 o’clock as well.

Connect one end of your LSI cable to the LSI socket on the amp. Connect the other end of the LSI cable to the headphone jack or headphone jack adapter on your smart device. Run the “tonebridge” application. Turn up the volume on the device sufficiently. Search and select your favorite song.

Now, You only need to balance the smart device level with the guitar signal, don’t forget to preview it first.

Once satisfied with the settings, you can choose whatever song you want and for me, this little amp is highly recommended because it can connect MINISTACK & MINISTACK-B to a number of apps, audio devices, and your favorite DAW. It’s also this feature that ultimately turns your Laney ministack-b into a truly versatile go-anywhere amp.

Laney Ministack and Ministack-B can be battery operated and require 6xAA batteries or can be powered using an optional 12V auxiliary 0.75A PSU (MINI-LANEY-PSU). Using them otherwise may cause damage or other problems, and void your warranty.

So what are you waiting for, I think in terms of built quality, this amp is exactly like a big amp, which is reduced in size and made of quite strong materials. The features are also quite promising and not outdated. From a sound point of view, I think this amp model has the courage to compete with other amps of the same class.
