A.A. WILLIAMS Release New Single Album, GOLDEN
A.A. WILLIAMS – After releasing the single Evaporate last June, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist A.A. Williams has released the next single from her upcoming second album, As The Moon Rests. A new single from A.A. Williams is titled Golden which will be released on August 16, 2022.
Regarding his new song, the musician said about his new song: “Sometimes it’s possible to find ourselves in a situation where we can’t be objective, can’t see someone’s part in the bigger picture. Sometimes we are even at the root of problems we don’t even know are happening. Golden talks about the push and pull between enjoying being in a loving situation, and simultaneously, unwittingly, destroying it.”
His second album, As The Moon Rests, will be released on October 7, 2022, via Bella Union. A A. Williams describes his approach on this latest record, “Traditionally, this second album is a concern; where there is a burden of hope. But I have to make music that I like, and I have more time for this record; I feel more confident and confident. Because As The Moon Rests is heavier and softer, there’s more texture and weight, and a string ensemble. It’s [debut album] Forever Blue times 10!”
In early June, A.A. Williams officially announced the details of his second album, As The Moon Rests. His new album will be a follow-up to his debut album, Forever Blue, released in 2020. This album will be released in October which is considered by A.A. Williams to be heavier, like his debut album multiplied by 10.
In this regard, A.A. Williams stated that he had to create the music he loved so he needed more time to record. A A. Williams is confident and more confident because his new album will be a mix of heavier and softer, more textured and weighty.
To coincide with the announcement of their second album, A.A. Williams has also released the lead single Evaporate. The music video, directed by Fraser West, appears in black/white.
“It’s all part of the main arc. In hindsight, some songs I figure out, and others I disappear into a hole. For example, in the single Evaporate, I try to cover up complicated fizzy thoughts, which just explode. Other times, I’m more relaxed. Mostly, writing is more retrospective, not about the here and now. Lyrics are the place where I find out,” he added.

A A. Williams is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from London, England. He has written and performed songs that are dark and deep with a textured sound, matched by his instrumental skills on guitar, piano, and cello. A.A.’s musical style Williams includes post-rock, folk, gothic, metal, and classical influences in his music.
His style was introduced to the world on his self-titled debut EP in 2019, and his first full-length effort, Forever Blue, followed in 2020. A collection of stop-gap covers dramatically reworked in his signature style, Songs from Isolation, was published. in 2021; later in the same year, he revisited his debut EP with strings on the EP titled arco.

As he gained confidence with musical instruments such as the electric guitar, he began writing songs that were dark, and dreamlike and reflected his belief that heavy doesn’t always mean loud. After recording a demo set, Williams sent it to an independent label, Holy Roar Records. The label offered to release it as is, but he opted to re-record most of the material, and Holy Roar put out his self-titled debut EP in early 2019.
A A. Williams signed with Bella Union Records for the release of her first full-length album. The album Forever Blue came out in July 2020 and featured guest appearances from Johannes Persson and Fredrik Kihlberg of Cult of Luna and Tom Fleming of Wild Beasts.
When the COVID-19 pandemic prevented him from touring in support of his album, he responded by recording solo performances of covers of songs that mattered to him and releasing them online. A set of nine shows appeared on the album Songs From Isolation, released by Bella Union in March 2021. Another studio project was released in October 2021; arco is a four-track EP with Williams that offers a new perspective on the songs from his debut EP, this time arranged for a 10-track string ensemble.
