BLACKPINK Tour Prepared with 2nd New Album
BLACKPINK tour – will make a comeback by releasing their second album in September. In addition, they will also have a world tour in October. YG Entertainment also released a short video containing the teaser of the new song and the girl group’s schedule of activities. The 30-second video reveals that a pre-release single for the new album is coming this month, followed by an album release in September 2022. After that, they will go on a world tour that will start in October 2022. Until now, YG Entertainment has not revealed the dates and times for these schedules.
In early July 2022, YG Entertainment confirmed BLACKPINK’s comeback plans. Not only that, but the agency also announced plans for a world tour of the group consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa. As reported by YTN via Naver on June 7, YG Entertainment said the girl group was in the stage of finalizing the recording of their latest album.
“A lot of music that reflects BLACKPINK Tour has been completed with a lot of effort over a long period of time,” said a YG Entertainment representative. The agency also confirmed that Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will be greeting many fans in person with the BLACKPINK world tour.
“To expand BLACKPINK’s emotional connection with fans around the world, they will be carrying out the largest-scale world tour in K-pop girl group history until the end of the year along with their comeback,” the agency said. “Furthermore, major projects befitting that status will continue to follow.”

BLACKPINK Tour last appeared to greet fans in a virtual concert titled The Show on December 27, 2020. The concert was broadcast on YouTube Music with access that can be obtained on a number of online services. In that concert, they brought hit songs as well as all songs from THE ALBUM, BLACKPINK’s first album.
