The Struts Band Release New Single Album “Fallin’ With Me”

The Struts Band as a British rock is back with a new single titled Fallin’ With Me. The new song is the Derbyshire band’s first new music since signing to label Big Machine earlier this year.

Discussing the new song, vocalist Luke Spiller said: “The lyrics were written during a few nights out with someone I was meeting at the time. We always meet at the same place on the Sunset Strip and after a while, I have a collection of phrases and lines that all have a certain feeling for them.”

“The chorus was meant to be a really heartwarming ballad, but once the music was recorded the vocals were taken elsewhere completely. Fa-fa-fa-fallin’ just me joking and laughing, but quickly became an important part of the setup tune,” added Luke Spiller.

The vocalist also added: “Fallin’ With Me is something The Struts has never done before. We’ve done a lot of straight-up rock, but this feels different. The response we got when we performed it live was electric, so I’m glad everyone heard the studio version!”

Over the past few years, The Struts have shared a number of high-profile collaborations. In 2020, they teamed up with Robbie Williams for a song called Strange Days, which is the title track of their latest album. The project also features collaborations with The Strokes member Albert Hammond Jr. for Another Hit of Showmanship, along with relationships with Tom Morello, Joe Elliott, and Phil Collen of Def Leppard.

Last year, the band teamed up with Paris Jackson on the new song Low Key In Love. In a statement, The Struts said, “Low Key In Love was written after a Los Angeles date at a retro 1970s bar, Good Times at Davey Wayne’s. I walked into the studio explaining that we needed the song to have the essence you feel when you enter the bar. and absorb the vibrations.”

He continued: “When we decided to explore the idea of ​​a duet, I looked back on that night and remembered that Paris played a brilliant acoustic set. Something inside tells me that everything happens for a reason, so I decided to message him.”

The single, titled Low Key In Love, which involved Paris Jackson as a collaborator, was released in April 2021. The song is the Derbishire glam rock band’s first release since their 2020 album Strange Days. In the album itself, The Struts Band involves many musicians as collaborators such as Robbie Williams, Tom Morello, Joe Elliott, Phil Collin, to Def Leppard.

Luke Spiller said that his decision to explore the idea of ​​a duet was due to the moment Paris Jackson played a brilliant acoustic set. Finally, Luke Spiller also sent an invitation to collaborate. He is sure that Paris Jackson will give a whole new dimension to bring the story in the song to life.

Meanwhile, in collaboration with singer Robbie Willams, The Struts performed the single Strange Days whose title was used as the title of their third album released in 2020. This glam rock outfit offers something unexpected, namely a slow-burning ballad that showcases Robbie Williams’ vocals. The song Strange Days—along with the third album of the same name—is a follow-up to their second album, Young & Dangerous, which was released in 2018.

“Oh these are strange times/ Lost in our mi-minds/ We don’t know, it’s unclear/ Where we’ll be this time next year,” Robbie Williams sings in the song’s chorus, reflecting on the uncertainties and difficulties of 2020.

“I was doing Quarantine Radio [the band’s live broadcast during lockdown] and Robbie William suddenly hit me asking if we could talk,” said vocalist Luke Spiller.
