Stereophonics Band Set to Release Their 13th Album in March 2025

Wales rock band, Stereophonics Band has officially announced the release of their 13th studio album, scheduled for March 2025. This new album serves as a follow-up to their 2022 release, Oochya!, and marks another exciting chapter in their musical journey.

To build anticipation, the band plans to drop a brand-new single in January, two months ahead of the full album release.

In a recent interview with Johnny Vaughan on Radio X, lead vocalist Kelly Jones expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming release.

“Yes, our new single will be out in January, and the album will follow in March, so stay tuned!” Kelly shared.

Kelly previously shared the exciting news on social media, revealing that the album recording process is complete and expressing his eagerness to hit the stage with his bandmates once again.

“Getting back on the road with my best mates, playing all the hits from our catalog in front of thousands of people at big outdoor events throughout summer 2025—I’m buzzing with excitement. We had to make a new album… oh wait, we already did! See you out there for some epic times… SONGS!!! SONGS!!! SONGS!!” Kelly wrote.

To support their new album, Stereophonics band will embark on the Stadium Anthems tour, covering the UK and Ireland in June and July. The tour will culminate in a hometown concert at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

Last year, Kelly, now 50, released his solo album Inevitable Incredible. In an interview with NME, Kelly reflected on stepping out of his comfort zone with his solo work.

“The fear of moving away from Stereophonics, a band I’ve been part of since my teens, has haunted me for a long time. It could have been a disaster. Another fear. But so much of the music I created was being overlooked. New music sometimes needs a dedicated space to be fully appreciated in its proper context,” he wrote.

Kelly likened his creative process to filmmaking, with each project having its own subject, setting, and tone.

“I wanted to be honest and open, even if it left me feeling vulnerable. I don’t fully know what this album means, but if you’re searching for something within yourself, you might find a connection in these songs,” Kelly concluded.

Stereophonics band fans are undoubtedly looking forward to this new album with great anticipation, eager to embrace the next phase of the band’s illustrious career.
