Along with this announcement, Neck Deep Band also released a new single entitled “It Won’t Be Like This Forever”. Neck Deep Band - It Won't Be Like This Forever

“We first tried to write this song after the COVID era in Wales. At that time, I think all of us thought ‘It won’t be like this forever’ (and it’s true), but as time went by the world was shown with many other problems that are still relevant. You can look at this through your own lens or you can enlarge it and make it more personal, which in the end is what I did. The hard times won’t last forever, and having someone to help “You during those times was a beautiful part of life and also love. This song is a love song, a song that brings hope, and also a song about self-improvement in one,” he stressed.

The video clip that accompanies the release of this new single attracts the attention of the audience by showing Neck Deep performing in the garage of a house, at the same time combined with the symbolism of a paper plane which represents the gap between hearts that are being separated due to distance, but this video clip also carries the message that there will be days when… better days are coming soon. Neck Deep fans will also be given some of their favorite Easter eggs.

The upcoming album includes everything that Neck Deep has mastered throughout their musical career that they have improved and also done very well. Starting from songs that sound very happy like “Dumbstruck, Dumbf**ck” and songs with high intensity like “Sort Yourself Out”, to a poetic song called “They Don’t Mean To (But They Do)” which talks about introspection self. The songs on this album have their own personalities and moments that can fit in any situation, including their previous song “Take Me With You”, which talks about an alien invasion.

Much has changed since Neck Deep first formed at the Barlow brothers’ home in Wrexham, Wales almost a decade ago. From when the members were still careless and naive, until now they have become one of the bands that defines many pop-punk bands that are popular with teenagers as well as being one of the most successful export bands from England globally. Neck Deep’s achievements include their albums frequently ranking in the top 5 in the United States and England, a number of world tours, and viral songs, and they have successfully collected more than 1 billion streams in their 10-year career.

“This album is an album that represents the sound of us knowing ourselves and the abilities we have,” explained Ben. “Without any further reason, this album basically reflects us as a band. Even though it’s true that now we are professional songwriters, of course, we really focus on what we’re good at – but at the same time, we also prioritize the process of creating this album, where we also have fun and have to enjoy the process of writing the songs… Even though it’s hard to explain, musically, there will be some small ornaments or signs that make a song, a Neck Deep Band song.
