Michael Patton Ready To Stage Again at The End of December 2022
Michael Patton (Mike Patton) will return to action in December 2022. Previously, he had been diagnosed with agoraphobia. In September 2021, just days before Faith No More was scheduled to hold a concert in America, Patton stated that he couldn’t commit to an extended tour with FNM and Mr. Bungle, on mental health grounds.
“I have issues that are exacerbated by the pandemic that is challenging me right now. I don’t feel I can give what I should give at this time, and I will not give less than 100 percent,” he tweeted.
In an interview with Rolling Stone in July, Mike Patton opened up about the mental health issues he was facing. He revealed that he had been diagnosed with agoraphobia.
“I’m afraid of people,” he explained.
The fear of being in a crowd may be due to spending two years indoors during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I do not know. Maybe it reinforces the feelings I already have.”
After receiving a number of psychological treatments, Michael Patton admitted that his condition is now better. Unmitigated, he is ready to go on stage again in December 2022.
“That kind of anxiety, or whatever you call it, then causes other problems. I prefer not to talk about it. But I got professional help and now I feel better and closer to ‘diving’ back at the end of the year. I will be in my first stage. in, two years. It’s the longest time since I started doing this, that I’ve been out of the ‘game’,” he explained.
