Maneskin Band Release 3rd Album “Rush”
Maneskin Band – As you understand, the rock music industry is quite dominated by musicians from the United States and England. However, what about Italy? Måneskin is one of the musical groups from Italy that is able to compete in the world of rock music and continues to consistently work to this day.
This consistency returned to the plans for the release of a new album from Måneskin entitled RUSH! Måneskin’s third album is planned for release in late January 2023. This step is a new step in welcoming a new year in Måneskin’s career journey.
In the past few years, Maneskin Band has shown quite a consistency in music. In March last year, Måneskin introduced his second album, Teatro d’ira: Vol. I. Now, the rock band from Italy is ready to release their third album in just a matter of months.
The news about plans to release a new album comes amid Måneskin’s busy world tour that they are currently undertaking. During the tour, Måneskin digitally released a new song called Kool Kids. after that, this one rock quartet also maximized the opportunities available by doing digital activation.
Maneskin Band teamed up with Spotify to upload their visual promotional material regarding the upcoming album titled RUSH! this. Furthermore, this Italian music group also released several songs, such as The Loneliest, Supermodel, and If I Can Dream.
The three are expected to complete the tracklist for the RUSH! album. The song titled If I Can Dream is also a pretty special release. The reason is, the work was also included in the soundtrack for Baz Luhrman’s Elvis Presley biopic.
Regarding their new album, entitled RUSH!, Måneskin explained that they were quite inspired by one of the iconic rock bands. Radiohead is a band that is quite inspiring in the making of their third album. What inspired Måneskin the most was Radiohead’s technical songwriting and recording process.
The Loneliest is considered one of the songs that quite represents the experiment they are currently doing. They want their loyal fans to understand Måneskin through a song that tells quite a story. Victoria De Angelis, Måneskin’s bass player, admitted that the song with an all-over ballad feel was something new for their listeners.
But behind that, one of the members of Måneskin emphasized that ballad music has always been the foundation of music. However, aesthetically, they add a heavy rock element to present a rocky impression. However, this time Måneskin wants to try to show a different side. The side behind the aesthetics they design for their fans.
For this reason, Maneskin members try to listen to various kinds of Radiohead’s works intensively. Måneskin also understood that there were a lot of experimental elements that they could do based on inspiration from Radiohead. Måneskin discovers a unique sound play thanks to effects pedals as well as digital elements that can make music richer and more complex.
According to Måneskin, this was done so they could create songs that could describe a world specifically. In other words, the album material that existed for Rush! may sound different, but have one continuous world. By designing a harmonious atmosphere, Måneskin wants listeners to be able to explore the new world that they are trying to offer in the album RUSH!
Despite introducing some details about his third album, Maneskin Band is currently still touring the United States. California, Arizona, and Michigan are three additional regions visited by Måneskin on this tour. The world tour is a combined tour that has been running since 2021.
The tour called Loud Kids was Maneskin’s way of celebrating the release of their second album Teatro D’ira: Vol. I. The plan is that the tour that Måneskin is currently undertaking will end in Europe in 2023. London, Denmark, and Italy are the three final locations that will close their world tour journey in 2021.
