Maneskin Band, One of the Eurovision Winners
Maneskin Band – “We’re just having fun right now, and that actually makes us better”.
They don’t feel pressured to succeed in the future. All they care about is enjoying where they are right now.
For those of you who missed it, Måneskin Band was one of the music units that won the Eurovision Song Contest last year. The Eurovision Song Contest is an annual competition for European countries. Each member country submits songs for live performances and they get to vote for the most popular songs.
And while Italian rockin’ rollers really enjoy and make the most of the journey, they also seem to have been quite successful in taking a pragmatic approach to the exciting and glamorous lifestyle they live today.
“We always thought we could really do it,” Damiano David assured. “Everything that has happened makes us very happy and proud, but we are also not surprised because we have worked so hard to get here. We deserve it, we know how to keep it, and we know what we want. But we also know that this doesn’t happen every day.”
“We know this is our train and we’re smart and lucky enough to drive it, but we’re already at the top and want to relax and enjoy the ride.”
“(Because) we really don’t care. We just have fun and things just get better.”
