Epiphone Brent Hinds Flying V – Epiphone, is a subsidiary of the manufacturer Gibson. Recently released signature guitar from guitarist Mastodon; Brent Hinds, although at first glance this guitar looks like any other Flying V guitar, it turns out that this guitar has some small surprises for its users.
Bred Hint, who was inspired by the Flying V shape released in 1958, turned out to do a combination by presenting several features found on the Les Paul Custom guitar, such as the use of ebony wood for the fingerboard and also box-shaped inlays like the Les Paul Custom guitar.

With its fused set-in mahogany neck and mahogany body with a V-shaped string-through-body tailpiece, the Epiphone Brent Hinds Flying V Custom is inspired by the dateless 1958 Flying V design. Like the first V, it also has two humbucking pickups, a pickguard covering only the lower half of the body, a master tone, Individual volume controls, and 22- a fret neck with a243/4 – inch scale.
Indeed the neck’s slim, rounded profile is grounded on that of a 1958V. still, it also shares several features analogous to a Les Paul Custom, including the ebony fingerboard with block inlays,multi-layer body and headstock list, bound fingerboard, top chapeau clods with essence inserts, and “ split- diamond ” headstock inlay. The Epiphone Brent Hinds Flying V Custom offers everything there’s to love about a Flying V and further. Sure, it can be a little neck heavy and uncomfortable to play when sitting down, but who wants to sit when you have a stupendous beast like this in your hands? The medium Goliath frets and slim neck profile give the ultimate in playing comfort, and if you’ve ever played a V I don’t have to tell you that the entire fingerboard lies in staying like a weak country soliciting for subjection. The Hammer Claws pickups are the reason this guitar is a must-buy, delivering soulful midrange and solid bass thump that sounds inversely stupendous clean, or distorted to oblivion.
This series provides all the flavors that the Flying V series can deliver, from sound and playability but with a thinner neck. With a strong midrange character and a solid low-end, this guitar does sound optimal for both lead sound and even distortion.
