BTS Reaches Highest Rank on Billboard World Album

BTS Billboard – Billboard has released a list of K-pop albums that made it to the charts for the week ending September 3, 2022. BTS’s anthology album ‘Proof’ rises back to No. 1 on Billboard World Albums. This marks the album’s 11th week on the chart.

Meanwhile, their mini album ‘Love Yourself: Her, which was released in 2017, remains strong at number 15, with a total of 174 weeks on the chart.

BTS also climbed back up several other Billboard charts for the week, including the Billboard 200 and Billboard Top Current Album Sales.

ENHYPEN with the mini album ‘Manifesto: Day 1’ topped the Billboard World Albums for four consecutive weeks, and became the group’s first album to spend four weeks on the Billboard 200.

SEVENTEEN managed to place two albums on the Billboard World Albums, namely ‘SECTOR 17 – Repackage Album’ and ‘Face the Sun’.

TXT’s album ‘minisode 2: Thursday’s Child’ maintained its position at No. 5 for 16 consecutive weeks, and TWICE’s Nayeon’s solo debut ‘IM NAYEON’ rose to No. 6 in its ninth week.

ITZY‘s ‘CHECKMATE’ held steady at 8th for its sixth week on the chart, followed by aespa’s ‘Girls’ at 11th in its seventh week and NewJeans’ album ‘New Jeans’ at 12th place in its third week.

BLACKPINK’s ‘THE ALBUM’ has finally re-entered the Billboard World Albums at number 14 this week, marking its 96th non-consecutive week on the chart.
