BLACKPINK Shows off New Album BORN PINK, With Lyrics Written by Jisoo and Rose

Jisoo and Rose – BLACKPINK released a tracklist ahead of the release of Born Pink. The new album will have eight songs, including Pink Venom which was released as a single some time ago.

Based on the uploaded poster, it can be seen that Jisoo and Rosé participated in writing the lyrics for one of their newest songs.

The names of Jisoo and Rosé are included in the list of lyricists for track 4, titled Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah, along with VVN and KUSH.
Previously, Jisoo also co-wrote the lyrics for Lovesick Girls with Jennie, TEDDY, Loren, and Danny Chung. The actress also wrote the lyrics for Clarity and Habits when performing replays of the two songs.

Meanwhile, Jisoo and Rose was also involved in the creative process especially when releasing two songs in her solo album, On the Ground and Gone.

Meanwhile, Lisa had time to write new verses when replaying Say So on The Show. He also co-wrote and composes on SG, a collaboration with DJ Snake, Ozuna, and Megan Thee Stallion.

But overall for the Born Pink album, from the lyrics to the production, it is still entrusted to TEDDY, the main producer of the works of YG Entertainment artists, including BLACKPINK.

In producing Born Pink, TEDDY worked closely with Danny Chung, 24, R.Tee, IDO, Vince, Bekuh BOOM, Dominsuk. Several other producers, such as Teddy and Willy Sinclair, Paro, Nohc, Nat Dunn, David Phelan, Alex Oriet, Brian Lee, and Soraya LaPread.

Meanwhile, the eight songs that fans or BLINKs can enjoy in BLACKPINK’s latest album are Pink Venom, Shut Down which is the main song of this album, Typa Girl, and Yeah Yeah Yeah.

The other four songs are Hard to Love, The Happiest Girl, Tally, and Ready For Love which are BLACKPINK’s collaboration with the PUBG game.

The Born Pink album will be released on September 16. According to the YG Entertainment statement, the release of the second album will be followed by BLACKPINK’s world tour starting October 2022.

Based on the schedule in the tour announcement, BLACKPINK will have a concert in Jakarta, Indonesia on March 11, 2023.
