Avril Lavigne Releases Album Love Sux Deluxe Edition

Avril Lavigne Love Sux – Nine months after the release of Love Sux, Avril Lavigne released a deluxe edition of the album featuring six new songs. Love Sux Deluxe Edition will be released on November 25, 2022.

The album Love Sux originally contained 12 tracks, but the deluxe edition features 18 tracks with six additional tracks. Of the six additional tracks, they include a collaboration with YUNGBLUD entitled I’m A Mess which has just been released.

There are also new songs titled Mercury In Retrograde and Pity Party. Avril Lavigne also performed an acoustic version of the song Bite Me, Love It When You Hate Me featuring blackbear, and Bois Lie featuring Machine Gun Kelly.

Love Sux showcases Avril Lavigne’s signature pop-punk sound in an iconic way. The singer-songwriter revealed that the Love Sux album was made when he was not interested in building a romantic relationship.

“So this new album is called Love Sux because that’s how I felt when I first made this album,” said Avril Lavigne.

“So at that time my relationship had just ended and I was feeling exhausted and needed a break to focus on myself,” she continued.

The new song on Love Sux’s album called Pity Party is a pop-punk piece about seeing the alligator tears of the person who just screwed you over. Meanwhile, Mercury In Retrograde, which sounds more modern, talks about how planets have such a profound effect on our moods and self-perceptions.

Avril Lavigne also includes the song I’m A Mess in collaboration with YUNGBLUD. In many ways, the single is the result of a collaboration that feels so relatable. Lavigne’s confident singing paired with YUNGBLUD’s husky vocals sound like a perfect match. Watch the music video below.
