How to Play Apple Music on Alexa?
How to Play Apple Music on Alexa – Alexa is Amazon’s voice assistant and has been around for about 4 years now. It can do so much, but unfortunately, it cannot play Apple Music on Alexa. There is a way to get this done though. All you need is an iPhone or an iPod Touch, and a little bit of knowledge.
The first thing you need to do is go to the Apple App Store and download the free app called ‘HomePod‘. This will allow you to control your HomePod from anywhere in the world with your voice.
Once you have downloaded the app, you will be asked to set up the device. The HomePod needs to be connected to a power source, and a Wi-Fi network. You will then be asked to link your phone to the HomePod. Once that is done, you can begin to use the app.
The first thing to do is to ask the HomePod to play music by saying “Alexa, play some music”. If you say “play”, you will hear the music playing through your home speakers. If you say “play Apple Music”, the HomePod will search for any music available on Apple Music. If there is a match, you will hear the song playing. If there is no match, you will hear the HomePod say “Sorry, I didn’t find any music on Apple Music.”
The only problem with this is that it does not work with all songs. Songs that are part of a playlist may not be found on the HomePod. Also, if you are listening to a song on YouTube, the HomePod will not play it.

The good news is that you can use the HomePod to search for songs on iTunes. To do this, you need to open the app and click on the ‘Search’ button. You will then be able to search for music. If there is a match on iTunes, you will hear the song played through your home speakers. If there is no match on iTunes, you will have to ask the HomePod to search again.
To be honest, this is one of the best ways to play Apple Music on Alexa. However, it is not the only way. There are other ways to play Apple Music on an Echo Dot, Echo Show, or Echo. You can also play Apple Music on a Chromecast, or a Fire TV Stick. However, these devices are not as powerful as the HomePod and are limited in their functionality.
