MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) 2022 Nominations
MTV Video Music Awards 2022 – MTV has released the complete list of nominees for the 2022 Video Music Awards (VMA) on Tuesday (26/7) United States time. Lil Nas X, Jack Harlow, and Kendrick Lamar are the musicians with the most nominations with seven nominations.
Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow share many of their nominations for their collaborations in Industry Baby, including Video of the Year and Best Collaboration.
But the two compete against each other in a number of categories, such as Artist of the Year, alongside Bad Buddy, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, and Lizzo.
Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar’s nomination this time is his first since 2018. This time, he was in the Best Hip-Hop category for N95, Video for Good for The Heart Part 5, and Best Direction for Family Ties.
Then Harry Styles and Doja Cat received six nominations. Drake, Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, and the Weeknd each received five nominations.
On the other hand, Queen of Pop Madonna made history as the only artist to get a nomination in every decade since the event started. He also became the artist with the most VMAs in history with 20 wins.
The highlight of the MTV Video Music Awards 2022, VMAs night will be on August 28, 2022, in New Jersey, USA.
