Bruno Major – The British singer and songwriter recently released the single “A Strange Kind of Beautiful”, which is the last song before his new album Columbo will be released this Friday, July 21 through the music label Harbor Artists & Music/AWAL.
The song “A Strange Kind of Beautiful” opens with stunning piano playing and Bach fuga as Bruno discusses the beauty and tragedy that coexist in a love story. He explains how the relationship between two people cannot be fully understood by other people, which makes a relationship something beautiful and special.
The video clip for the new single by this British musician is fully displayed in black-and-white animation. The result is a visual that fits the overflowing lyrics and beautiful melody of “A Strange Kind of Beautiful”.
Bruno’s new song follows a number of singles he has released in recent months, including “Tell Her”, “Columbo”, and “We Were Never Really Friends”. UPROXX praised, “‘Tell Her’ retains the moody, jazz-influenced feel of more recent pop songs. Major uses his words as a wish he hopes an ex will hear. ”
Clash hails “Columbo” as “a soothing springtime hymn reminiscent of Paul Simon, a melodic tune drenched in sunshine, while the video features a special guest star, Bruno’s 1978 Mercedes 380SL.
- Evergreen, The Majpr Single Album from PVRIS Band

The album’s first single, released last May, “We Were Never Really Friends”, was hailed by Billboard as “a classic friendship-busting anthem that disguises itself as a piano ballad before turning into a rock anthem that invites all listeners to raise their lighter, complete with a typical guitar solo.”
On July 21, Bruno will release his latest album, Columbo, which is a continuation of the album ‘To Let a Good Thing Die, which was released in 2020. This 12-song album is Bruno’s best and most honest work to date.
