“In 2002, we were a band without a contract, and our friend and manager, Adam, worked for the Love Actually producer. When they made the film, Adam suggested that we write a song immediately, and he would see if he could hand it over to Richard Curtis, and maybe we could sneak into the soundtrack and get a big breakthrough. Unfortunately, the result was not like that, but Richard always kindly said that he liked the song and hoped to include it in the film,” said Tim Rice-Oxley, the keyboardist.

Keane finally recorded their latest version 20 years later, produced by the band and led by the super cool vocals of Tom Chaplin.
