My Chemical Romance New Album Extended Play, The Mad Gear and Missile Kid

My Chemical Romance New Album – Nashville rock unit My Chemical Romance Band has released a new extended play (EP) entitled The Mad Gear And Missile Kid. The new EP is finally available on digital streaming services and will be My Chemical Romance’s first release after 12 years without an album release.

This new EP from My Chemical Romance contains three tracks. The three tracks were originally released in 2010 as the soundtrack to the fictional Killjoys inhabiting the post-apocalyptic cartoon world of My Chemical Romance’s fourth album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.

Announcing the news, Frank Iero of My Chemical Romance said, “Originally, released in 2010 as part of the Danger Days album universe…, The Mad Gear And Missile Kid EP are now available to stream on Spotify. you and your friends can now easily add your favorite Killjoys bands to all your playlists and such.”

Now, the three tracks in the EP, each titled F.T.W.W.W., Mastas Of Ravenkroft, and Black Dragon Fighting Society are available to listen to on streaming services.

The song Mastas Of Ravencroft was given a live debut earlier this year. That was precisely when My Chemical Romance started their reunion tour at Eden Project, Cornwall, and have been making regular appearances ever since.

Earlier this month, My Chemical Romance kicked off their North American reunion tour by playing two rare films for the first time in more than 15 years. Bury Me In Black premiered for the first time in 19 years, while This Is The Best Day Ever was shown for the first time in 2005.

Additionally, My Chemical Romance New Album provided Burn Bright’s Conventional Weapons track in its live debut and played Vampires Will Never Hurt You for the first time in a decade.

The My Chemical Romance reunion tour continued into October before the band presented its total appearance at the When We Were Young Festival with Paramore. They will also tour Australia and New Zealand in March 2023.

Last week, Frank Iero launched his new band L.S. Dunes. The five-member band is fronted by Circa Survive vocalist Anthony Green and features guitarist Travis Stever of Coheed And Cambria, bassist Tim Payne, and his Thursday bandmate Tucker Rule—who also played on Yellowcard for a while—on drums. Their debut album, Past Lives, will be released on November 11, 2022, via Fantasy Records.

Towards the end of last August, My Chemical Romance Band officially started their North American reunion tour, to be precise on August 20, 2022. My Chemical Romance played two rare songs for the first time in more than 15 years. The band played at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City to kick off a 25-date tour that took them through early October.

In the show, they performed the song Bury Me In Black for the first time in 19 years. Then, My Chemical Romance also played the song This Is the Best Day Ever for the first time since 2005.

Elsewhere, My Chemical Romance New Album dedicated their hit single, The Ghost Of You, to Doug McKean, their producer who died at the age of 54 recently, with his latest work on the band’s comeback single The Foundations Of Decay. After his death, MCR presided over the tribute and wrote, “My Chemical Romance lost Doug McKean, a great friend, a collaborator, partner, brother, problem solver, a genius, an integral part of our music. Doug is someone who makes us laugh, makes us better, understands, and always comes to the rescue. He is very much missed. He always will be.”

Elsewhere at the Oklahoma City show, the band played Teenager hits, I’m Not Okay (I Promise), and more with a 22-track setlist! Throughout their reunion date so far, the band has played a number of hits, fan favorites, and deep cuts, as well as performing two songs for the first time.

In a five-star review, NME said: “They are now safely one of the biggest rock groups to emerge in the last 20 years but if the band is worried about their new status, they are not showing it. Tonight’s show is fearless, loose, and raw. It really feels like anything can happen, as My Chemical Romance Band channels punk rebellion and playful ambition. ‘This is special and wonderful,’ said Way, taking the words straight from our mouths.”
