The Hunna Band Release New Single Album “Trash”
The Hunna Band, a rock unit from Hertfordshire has given it its all in this new release. All of their energy seems to be drained for their latest explosive song, Trash on July 29, 2022.

A potent mix of savage and dark humour, the lead single from the new album kicks off by giving the music industry a second barrel, taking pot shots at executives telling them “TikTok, TikTok or else you get drop.”
The punk rock chorus and Beastie Boys-style rhymes flow with the 1990s and 2000s rock influences, which extend into brilliant tongue-in-cheek videos. The music video shot with a grainy fisheye lens captures Ryan Potter (vocals/guitar), Dan Dorney (guitar), and Jack Metcalfe (drums) humorously characterizing industry dignitaries.
Vocalist and guitarist Ryan Potter said, “We really enjoyed writing the lyrics. We were all together, joking and unburdening. Despite the anxiety, we don’t take life too seriously, we just have fun.”
“We’re not calling out to anyone specifically, it’s just the reluctance of the industry as a whole. It highlights the things we’ve experienced in the industry over the years and the things we’re seeing happening and hearing now. There’s a lot of bad stuff still going on in this industry and a lot of it gets swept under the carpet. But we’re in a position where we are on our fourth album, we feel fresh and confident and this is what we’re going to say. Whether you like it or not, that’s cool. We are we.”
Meanwhile, The Hunna Band has announced a major UK tour for October and November 2022. The band will be touring in support of their recently announced self-titled new album on October 28, 2022, through Believe.
The 14-date tour will begin at Tramshed in Cardiff on 18 October 2022 and conclude at The Mill, Birmingham on 5 November 2022. The band will play at London’s Electric Ballroom on 4 November 2022. Tickets go on sale on 3 August 2022.
The Hunna’s rise to global success has skyrocketed. The band formed in 2015 and released their 2016 debut album, 100, which went gold and broke into the UK Top 20. The follow-up was the 2018 album Dare, rising even higher as The Hunna built a gold reputation for making instant rock songs.
The new album is set to further cement this status and has been produced by legendary producer Gil Norton (Pixies, Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World). The Hunna is filled with colossal riffs, irresistible melodies, and catchy lyrics, as found in post-lockdown songs like Take A Ride and Fugazi, or orchestral glory from Sick, featuring Charlie Simpson from Fightstar.

The Hunna Band is a rock band from Hertfordshire, England. The band was formed in 2015. The band members are singer/guitarist Ryan (Tino) Potter, guitarist Daniel (Dan, BD) Dorney, and drummer Jack (IK) Metcalfe. The band draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including bands such as Kings Of Leon, Foals, The 1975, You Me at Six, and Queen.
So far, The Hunna has released three albums, each of which was released with a gap of two years. Among these are 100 (2016), Dare (2018), and I’d Rather Die Than Let You In (2020). While their fourth album, The Hunna, will be released in 2022.
