Final Stair Release New Album, Headgames

Final Stair Band has released its new song. This song boldly dives into the realities of mental and spiritual health. The new single is titled Headgames.

The band explains the meaning behind the new single. Final Stair said, “Istvan, the singer of the band, fell into a severe life crisis several years ago and suffered from extreme panic attacks and intense anxiety disorder that took complete control of his body, soul, and daily life. He is only guided by the fear of fear.”

“This vicious cycle ends with alcohol and depression and mind games that make him a helpless person. He developed into a helpless little boy who could no longer cope with his life,” they continued.

“This song tells the story of this disease on one hand but also contains the power to overcome it and learn to live with it. With this song, the band wants to draw attention to the fact that many of us suffer from depression and similar illnesses. With Headgames, they want to say: you are not alone!” they continued.

Final Stair Band with New Album 2022 Headgames

The single Headgames follows the earlier Medieval-inspired single, Back To Throne. The Berlin band has now released six tracks from their debut album, Hope, which will be released on September 16, 2022, via Sonic Grit.

Headgames’ new single also comes with an impressive music video. The music video for Headgames shows a confrontation with oneself. With this single, the Berlin-based trio gets in touch with themselves, delving into the very intimate and subtle subject of metallic health.

At the end of last June, Final Stair Band was pleased to announce the release of a new single and lyric video for Back To Throne. This single was released before their debut album Hope which will be released in September. The single Back To Throne explores a fantastical world inhabited by legends and stories from the Middle Ages. The song revolves around the charms of kings who have been deposed and returned, glorious, to their thrones.

The band commented: “This song depicts overconfidence and the danger it causes. You always meet people who believe they know and can do anything. Due to delusion, they no longer see how reality becomes an illusion. Criticism is no longer taken seriously and they just want to see the best and most beautiful. Due to their lack of self-reflection, they can no longer step out of the world they created for themselves unless they find the courage to see it and admit it.”

Musically, the song is inspired by blues and stoner rock. The bands of the 1970s also played a major role. Final Stair Band only wanted to make a song that was heavy but also reflected arrogance and overconfidence.

Besides music, they continued, their passion is to play a major role in life. It’s like time travel. Any modern communication like cell phones or the Internet is irrelevant. We live completely with nature and are exposed to all weather conditions. Waking up early in the morning dew until the sun rises is a priceless experience. The trio only focused on the essentials and lived very minimally for this short time. They said, “This experience is a huge inspiration for us and our music.”
