In the midst of the long wait for a new work from a metal band from Iowa, United States, Sid Wilson has just announced the news. The keyboardist as well as the turntables convey the shape that will come from Slipknot’s new album later.
In an interview with Full Metal Jackie quoted from Loudwire, Sid Wilson Slipknot revealed a little more about what fans can expect and how the music will be presented by Slipknot.
Wilson said that the production and development process for this new album was heavily influenced by their time on tour. “We have a portable studio, so we have a lot of ideas that we keep in the studio room the backstage,” he said.
“On the one hand, we do tours and tours. Farther away from earth. So I actually dive into lots of samples from different moons around different planets in our solar system to translate the amount of travel we make, and also bring them back to earth for everyone to hear. So my voting was a little more off-planet than usual,” Wilson explained.
This is not the first time Sid Wison Slipknot through its personnel has promoted plans for the release of their new album. One of the most passionate about sharing the concepts presented in this album is the frontman, Corey Taylor.
Corey Taylor revealed that Slipknot’s seventh album project will be the most ferocious work compared to the previous work. It was explained by the vocalist of Slipknot that in terms of audio composition, they tried to present heavy elements in building the impression of horror and suspense.
This latest album from Sid Wilson Slipknot takes references from their previous works, including We Are Not Your Kind. According to Corey Taylor, the nuances of their new album will present a darker nuance and present a more dominant melody.

The video clip that is presented is footage of them playing the song The Chapeltown Rag live at a secret concert made by Slipknot itself.
In the released video clip, the visual aspect offered is footage of when Slipknot started playing live music again in 2021. This can be seen from the difference in Corey Taylor’s mask who has used his latest design.
Meanwhile, The Chapeltown Rag is a song inspired by tragedies from the past. The title track used by Slipknot comes from the area in West Yorkshire that was the scene of the Yorkshire Ripper murders between 1975 and 1980.
