Head in the Clouds Jakarta Festival to be held on December 3-4

Head in the Clouds Jakarta – 88rising officially announced that Head in the Clouds Jakarta will be held this year. Through posts on social media, they announced that the music festival will take place over two days in early December 2022.
“88RISING is proud to announce HEAD IN THE CLOUDS JAKARTA! December 3 & 4 at Community Park PIK 2,” wrote 88rising.

On this occasion, they also revealed that Head in the Clouds Jakarta tickets are on sale starting Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 10:00 WIB. Until now, there has been no further information regarding the line-up details and ticket prices for the music festival.

However, 88rising in March 2022 has given the code Rich Brian and NIKI will enliven the annual music festival. At that time, they uploaded a photo of the two musicians with the label logo.

“TO JAKARTA WITH LOVE. WE WILL MEET YOU #HITCJAKARTA2022,” wrote 88rising, Thursday, March 24, 2022.

This confirmation comes about two years since Head in the Clouds Jakarta was canceled at JIExpo Kemayoran on March 7, 2020, due to the Covid pandemic.

“To the entire Jakarta family, after serious consideration and deep regret, due to the recent coronavirus situation, we have postponed Head in the Clouds Jakarta,” said 88rising’s statement via social media at the time.

“The health and safety of the Indonesian people and the families of our 88rising fans, musicians, and teams traveling from around the world is our number one priority,” he continued.

At that time, Head in the Clouds Jakarta at that time had also released a list of musicians who were performing. Among them are musicians from 88rising, such as Rich Brian, NIKI, Joji, Stephanie Poetri, Higher Brothers, and August 08.

In addition, there are also performers who are not covered by 88rising, such as Day6, Phum Viphurit, Yerin Baek, Reality Club, and Voice of Baceprot.

Head in the Clouds Jakarta is a collective project of musicians under the label 88rising. The project has spawned two albums released in July 2018 and October 2019.

The first album was filled with Rich Brian, NIKI, Joji, Higher Brothers, Keith Ape, and Sean Evans.

Then the second album was filled with performers on the first album and a number of musicians who followed joined in 88rising, such as Jackson Wang, August 08, and Stephanie Poetri.
