The singer from Los Angeles released a single titled ‘NDA’ on July 9. The song is confirmed to be part of Billie Eilish’s upcoming album, ‘Happier Than Ever. Since a few days before it was officially released, Billie Eilish had actually leaked about this new song.
Eilish revealed the news on his social media account on Friday (2/7/2021). He revealed, “The new song and music video from the upcoming album “Happier Than Ever” will be released on Friday, July 9th,” he wrote. Eilish also featured a blurred double figure of herself against a black background.
Yes, the leak is a snippet from the singer’s own NDA music video and shows Billie Eilish pacing in the middle of a dark street. While in the middle of the song, he was passed by 25 speeding cars. From his press statement, the music video for the NDA song was taken in one take and did not use stunts or VFX for cars.
NDA itself became the fifth song shared from Billie Eilish’s second album before its release. The song follows ‘Your Power’ and ‘Lost Cause’ this year, as well as ‘My Future’ and ‘Therefore I Am, both of which were released in 2020.
Billie Eilish is also reportedly working with the BBC ahead of the release of the album Happier Than Ever. Last month, Polydor’s co-president revealed in an interview that the pop star had big plans with the BBC for the album.
Regarding this second album, Billie Eilish explained that the concept and theme that was brought was much different from his debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’. Billie Eilish even believes that his second album will be better than the first album because of the creativity that is carried by him.
He said in a new interview that therapy has helped him in his creative process for the album. He considers the upcoming album to be the best music of his career so far. To Zana Lowe on Apple Music 1, Billie Eilish admitted that she now feels more creative.
“It’s so much better than ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’. I mean listen, that album has a lot of work to do. When you want to make your album come alive and be the best, and you want people to listen to it, then you have to do a lot to make it happen,” said Billie Eilish.
“You have to record and record and record. And all that stuff. It was a pretty tough few weeks, I have to tell you. I’ve cried maybe 30 times. I’ve probably cried more in the last two weeks than I have in my entire life.” he said.

She continued, “But that’s okay because life goes on and things go by. But the whole process has gotten a lot better. I feel much more confident and happy in my life and my personal life, as well as the brain and creativity I have. it’s a difficult thing. It’s really hard, but it’s worth it,” he added.
